AFTER-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT Throughout the year Crestview students have various opportunities to participate in after-school enrichment activities
designed to introduce or enhance student learning in the arts, sports and fitness, music, language, horticulture and other
fun and educational areas of interest.
FAMILY
FUN & FITNESS NIGHT Crestview students and their families have fun getting a healthy start to the new year. Engaging games and yoga suitable
for all are mixed with mini-physicals and health tips. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and sneakers and bring
the whole family.
INTERNTIONAL
DINNER The International Dinner was a great success, with over 270 students, family members, faculty
and guests attending!
REFLECTIONS Students who participate in the arts do better in school. The PTA Reflections Program gives students
an opportunity to receive recognition for their artistic endeavors. Encourage your child to create an original work
of art based on the 2009-2010 Reflections Program theme, "Beauty is...!" The six program categories are: Literature, Musical Composition, Dance, Visual Arts, Photography, Film Production. Awards
are given at the local, council, district, state, and national levels.
READING IF FUNDAM ENTAL (RIF) Reading Is Fundamental, Inc. prepares and motivates children to read
by delivering free books and literacy resources to those children and families who need them most.
WINTER WONDERLAND & SILENT AUCTION A magical
evening filled with dancing, friends and the wonder of winter. The Silent Auction is exciting as well and just in time
for holiday gift giving.
