“Small but Mighty”
Have you
ever heard the phrase, “Small
but Mighty”? Well, that describes Crestview! Did you know that Crestview has earned many accolades
this year? They are as follows:
- International
Award for Children’s Engineering (The only elementary school to earn this honor!)

Book Bowl Team – Second Place in Henrico County

Destination Imagination – Second Place and going to the state competition
- Henrico 21 Finalist
- Matt
Caratachea – Finalist, First Year Teacher
- Meg Zehmer – Teacher of the Year and REB Award Nominee
- Audra Vanderland – Christy Award (an award for special education teachers)

Deb Gribben, fourth Grade Teacher – met President Obama
- Stock Market Group – Three students received awards for products they created.
All this was able to be achieved because the staff, children, and families
work together. Yes, we are SMALL but MIGHTY!
